Pricing

Pay for usage, never for features.

Every feature is on at every plan — authentication, permissions, profiles, security communications, and payments. Plans only change how much usage is included. Start free, and the meter goes both ways: a slow month is a smaller bill.

First, what's a unit?

Everything is metered in a single auth unit. One unit a month is any one of:

1,000
active users

A login, logout, or refresh in the month. Dormant accounts are free.

5,000
emails

Branded transactional email from your own domain — about 5 per active user each month.

50,000
API calls

Permission checks, token and profile calls. End-user logins don't count.

You're billed on whichever one runs highest — never the sum.

Exceed any single dimension, add a unit. The other two ride inside it. One number on the invoice, always. No tiers, no cliffs.

Pick a base. Grow into it.

Each plan includes a pool of units; extra units meter at the plan's rate. Bigger base, cheaper units.

What you'd pay as you grow.

Typical app, active users as the binding dimension. The annual columns show the effective monthly cost if you commit for a year. Bold is the plan a rational customer picks at that scale — the dashboard suggests the switch automatically.

An annual commit buys the discounted unit rate on everything — base and growth alike — in exchange for a monthly unit floor. Per active user at scale: $0.00325–0.004, with email and API budget included.

Against the market.

All-in monthly cost at the same active-user counts. The cheap-looking options make you bolt on a second vendor for email and build the pieces they don't sell — permissions, profiles, payments. Our number already includes every one.

GeniusAuth = best annual-commit price, all features included. Competitor figures are directional estimates for comparison only — verify current vendor pricing before relying on them. Email add-on assumes ~5 emails per active user per month on a typical transactional provider; Firebase is auth-only (dev-capped email, no permissions engine, no payments).
